Susie L. Hoeller has extensive experience in commercial and international law; corporate governance and ethics; product and food regulatory; quality assurance and safety law; insurance and risk management; litigation management; and government contracting. Her law firm with offices in Bentonville, Arkansas and the Dallas Texas Metroplex represents foreign and domestic companies in a broad range of industries and in regulatory matters involving the CPSC, FDA, USDA, EPA, and state agencies.

Ms. Hoeller is a current advisor to the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Americas Beachhead Program. She is an adjunct instructor in the business and paralegal studies departments at NW Arkansas Community College.

Ms. Hoeller serves as an outside director and audit committee chair for a mutual life and health insurance company based in suburban Chicago; a director, officer and advisor for three non-profit, tax exempt organizations. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Section of Antitrust Law’s Corporate Counseling Committee with frequent speaking, legal commentary, and writing projects to her credit, including a chapter in a forthcoming ABA antitrust compliance manual. She has recently published three books: on food and toy safety, immigration policy, and ethical food policy.

Ms. Hoeller’s prior legal positions include the following: Associate General Counsel for global procurement and product and food safety at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc in Bentonville, AR; and Partner at Jackson Walker LLP and Of Counsel at Haynes and Boone LLP in Richardson and Dallas, TX, where she represented high technology companies. She served in positions of increasing responsibility in the Legal Department at Texas Instruments (TI) in Dallas, including her appointment as the Secretary of the TI Ethics Committee, reporting to the Board of Directors.

In addition to her international business travel, she has traveled to foreign countries for her pro bono work on behalf of refugees, asylum applicants, battered immigrants, and children with war injuries seeking medical treatment in the U.S. She has received national and state recognition for her pro bono legal work on behalf of refugees and immigrants.

Ms. Hoeller is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Texas, Illinois, and Maine. She received her law degree from Vanderbilt University and graduated from Colby College cum laude with a B.A. in history and government. She received her primary and secondary education in Montreal and was born in Chicago.

Theodore M. Hoeller, Sr.’s career in Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; and Bentonville, Arkansas has spanned over forty years in the fields of capital investment, transportation, real estate development, marketing, and entrepreneurial ventures. He has held senior positions with large corporations. In addition, as an entrepreneur, he has successfully developed many small and medium size companies. Ted has also acted as a consultant, owner’s representative and CEO or COO for emerging companies in the semiconductor, chemical services and general aviation fields. He has served in leadership and volunteer positions with business, civic, charitable, fraternal, university, and religious groups. Ted has been appointed to various governmental boards in the areas of real estate appraisal, public transportation services, and airport management.

Ted has a B.A. degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and an Associate of Applied Science degree from Grayson County Community College in Denison, Texas. He has taught various courses pertaining to general business, enology & viticulture, real estate law, marketing and sales and is a member of Forum for International Trade Training Inc., headquartered in Ottawa, Canada. Ted currently is the Board Chairman for the American Center for International Policy Studies (www.amcips.org).

Ted’s diverse business background provides him with a businessman’s perspective on complex legal issues which arise in large corporations, as well as the legal needs of startup companies and their growth into successful mid-sized firms. He understands the business need for timely and cost effective and accurate legal services. Ted works closely with Hoeller Law’s network of top attorneys and clients to make sure that clients are receiving the legal services they require and that the billing practices are accurate. He is also dedicated to keeping the Hoeller Law Firm overhead low so the firm can pass these savings onto our clients, with the belief that our success is based upon our ability to help our clients become more successful.

Mr. Hayes serves as Of Counsel with the Hoeller Law Firm and practices law in Dallas at The Law Offices of Collin L. Hayes, P.C.

Mr. Hayes began his legal career as an antitrust enforcement attorney with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC. (1995-97). He was an associate at Jackson Walker LLP where he practiced law with Ms. Hoeller in the high technology corridor north of Dallas, Texas. (1997-2002). Mr. Hayes then served as senior legal counsel at Nokia (based in Irving, Texas) from 2002 to 2009. While at Nokia, Mr. Hayes held various positions of increasing responsibility, including senior positions leading high profile global legal functions and including membership on several business management teams.

With his experience in federal law enforcement, with a large multi-city law firm and a global telecommunications company, Mr. Hayes brings a multi-dimensional and informed perspective to counsel the Hoeller Law Firm’s clients with legal matters involving:
